Ibeno: Council Boss Transforms Iwuoachang Motor Park Into Modern Transit Hub

Date:

The Chairman of Ibeno Local Government Area, Hon. Glory Effiong, has given commuters, transport operators, and traders a reason to cheer with the remodeling of the Iwuoachang Motor Park.

Speaking on the project, the Council Boss said, for years, the park had been in a dilapidated state, causing discomfort for travelers and hindering commercial activities around the area.

She noted that the remodeled facility will now offer a safer, cleaner, and more convenient environment for commuters, transporters, and traders.

She further noted that the intervention was a deliberate effort to complement Governor Umo Eno’s rural development agenda, which places emphasis on people-oriented projects at the grassroots.

“Our Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has shown us that true leadership is about touching lives where it matters most. This project is a reflection of that vision, and I am proud that Ibeno is part of the unfolding story of rural development in Akwa Ibom State,” She said.

Residents and transport operators who spoke at the event applauded the Council Boss for what they described as a timely and impactful intervention. Many noted that the remodeled park would ease movement, improve security, and boost the local economy.
